Sociologist, Elaine Howard Ecklund investigates the common assumption that there is longstanding irreconcilable antagonism between science and religion. Ecklund surveyed nearly 1,700 scientists and interviewed 275 of them about what scientists actually think and feel about religion. Her findings produce some surprising results.
