Come, Let Us Reason

In Stock

Norman Geisler and Ronald Brooks remind us that while everyone thinks, not everyone thinks correctly. They introduce the reader to logic (the discipline that helps us think correctly) and how to recognize common mistakes in sound reasoning. This practical book assists the reader to discuss differences of opinion in a reasonable way.

Note: The instructor (Kenneth Samples) recommends the following texts as his first or second choice for the course. However, we make the Geisler text available as a less expensive alternative. You only need to choose one.
  • A Concise Introduction to Logic, Patrick A. Hurley (older edition is fine; available on amazon)
  • Attacking Faulty Reasoning, T. Edward Damer (older edition is fine; available on amazon)

****This book is used as a textbook in the Critical Thinking Skills course available through Reasons Institute.****
