Astronomers Debate the Scientific Evidence

In this historic event, Dr. John Ankerberg hosts Christian astronomers Dr. Danny Faulkner (young-earth creationism) and Dr. Hugh Ross (old-earth creationism) as each make their case for their respective models for the origin and design of the universe.

A panel of top Christian astronomers then reviewed their video presentations. This resulted in this panel of experts issuing a formal statement summarizing their findings: "An Evaluation of Evidence for the Age of the Universe. John Ankerberg invited Dr. Ross, Dr. Faulkner, and three selected members from this esteemed panel to his studio to record a second broadcast. In these sessions, the panel asked questions of the experts and discussed their positions.

Featuring more than six hours of lively debate and discussion, these important episodes explain much of the scientific process involved in calculating the age of the universe from an astronomical perspective, while allowing viewers to decide for themselves which side makes the most compelling case."
